Hi everyone,

and so it is back to life back to reality, back to problems that didn't
really go away, but that I had a holiday from. Cfront was a piece of music
that welcomed, gathered, built, crescendoed, blasted, then broke like a wave
and dispersed crashing onto the shore of our homelands..and now there is
almost silence..i feel like a stranger in a strange land..an inhabitant of a
twilight zone where I am the only one that knows that we are in a movie, or
a repeated episode of some TV drama, nostalgic for something that was of
only finite duration and that can only be revisited in memory (remindings
memories)

It's a similar feeling to when I used to come back from 3 weeks labouring on
Aboriginal communities in the western desert of Australia, small groups of
people met, got on, developed something special, masks dropped, everything
was shared, all under the open sky. But back in the city, the masks came
back on, people's lives took over, and we were nostalgic for what we had
lost, and it hurt.

one could not explain the experience to others that were not there
either..it was beyond words.
Cfront01 was beyond words, digging deep into emotions, friendships,
understandings, stories, laughter and connection.

and yes we must meet again, often

meanwhile I created last year a couple of rooms in media MOO which may be a
good place to meet up. You need to:
telnet mediamoo.cc.gatech.edu:8888 (ie port 8888)
then co guest (ie connect as a guest)
then @go #9534

type help if you need help

more soon
