June 12 the natural way

Subject: [CFront] the natural way

Dimos asked me to write something for this list and I
was thinking and thinking and thinking... and realized
that I've already told all the stories from the last
week - all but the newest one. So, if I'm supposed to
tell something now, let it be this short story.
Two nights ago there was a great unplanned party in
the appartment where we are accomodated (we = Jane,
Rupert, Saso, Luka, Eva, Anja and me). Everybody were
awake till 6 a.am. and then went to sleep. Only I
stayed awake longer - and I realized that there were
Luka's minidisc and mic in front of me just like that.
And I couldn't resist that temptation. The battery in
minidisc was almost empty, so I was able to record
only the most interesting sound association of all I
had at the moment. This sound vignette was "podsecanja
secanja secanja", rhythmically told in Serbian and
followed by the English translation "remindings
memories memories", and I recorded it. Somehow I felt
that Luka will know what to do with this if he finds
it.
Later I forgot to tell Luka about this recording, but
today I heard him composing a dramatic piece of
soundwork with this sample I recorded. That was
exactly what I wished to happen when I recorded the
thing. Even without telling Luka about this sample,
everything just happened in the most natural way.
There's no need for too much words in the
collaboration and crossover between us here at CFront.
Things just happen. That's the most beautiful quality
of CFront.
